5th Edition of the 'Marrakech Short Film Festival'

This year, the Marrakech Short Film Festival 2024 is distinguished by two exceptional partnerships: its integration into the Marrakech Capital of Islamic Culture program, in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication and ICESCO, as well as its participation in the Qatar X Morocco Year of Culture 2024 program. This edition highlights the cultural and cinematic diversity of Qatar and welcomes for the first time the Doha Film Institute (DFI).

This year's jury is chaired by actress and producer Maysae Maghrebi, accompanied by award-winning director Sofia Alaoui and actress Nadia Konda. They will evaluate the best cinematographic creations of this edition.

The festival promises an exciting selection of national and international short films, with 9 films in the national selection and 15 international films from various countries. The Marrakech Short Film Festival 2024 will be an unmissable event for film lovers and creators from around the world, offering a week of inspiring cinematic discoveries and celebration of cultural diversity.
