The 23nd edition of the Marrakech International Film Festival
From November 20 to 28, 2026, Marrakech will host the 23rd edition of its prestigious film festival. This major event celebrates world cinema with a selection of 82 films from 31 countries, presided over by Oscar-winning filmmaker Bong Joon-ho.
The program includes an official competition showcasing emerging talent, gala screenings with the biggest names in international cinema, and tributes to legends like Jodie Foster and Guillermo del Toro. The festival will open with Gus Van Sant's Dead Man's Wire and close with Annemarie Jacir's Palestine 36.
A rich program that particularly showcases Moroccan and Arab cinema, while also offering discoveries from around the world. A must-see event for film enthusiasts and professionals alike.
