The National Museum of Ceramics

  • Museums

The National Ceramics Museum houses a significant collection of pottery and ceramic objects from Morocco. These pieces, of an archaeological and ethnographic nature, mainly come from the national museums of the FNM, such as the Archaeological Museum of Tetouan, the Casbah Museum in Tangier, the Museum of History & Civilizations, the Oudayas Museum in Rabat, Dar Jamaï in Meknes, Dar Si Said in Marrakech, and Al Batha in Fez. The collection was enriched by local acquisitions, notably donations from the Municipality of Safi, some ceramists from Safi, as well as a French collector residing in Safi.
