Mzinda Village
The village of Mzinda, also known as "9000" in its former name, was a true Eden during the 60s and 70s, experiencing a unique kind of progress and exceptional development. It was renowned for its two Moorish baths with remarkable architecture. Mzinda is also home to one of the region's first textile cooperatives, which showcases a diversity reflective of the area's rich traditions in carpet production. Notable examples include the Mzinda Carpet Weaving Cooperative and the Addaouk Arrafiaa Cooperative.
