Secrets of Plants – Mint Distilled Water Workshop in Naama

The workshop takes place in a soothing rural setting, within a local cooperative (Aachab Naama Cooperative), known for its artisanal work with aromatic and medicinal plants, especially local mint (often called “Maachi mint”).

During the activity, you will witness the harvesting — or the visit of the aromatic plants — followed by the traditional distillation: extraction of the aromas and active principles of mint to produce distilled water, used as a hydrosol or base for natural products.

The workshop combines an educational approach (learning about the process, plants, and natural properties) with a practical dimension: you leave with your own production (hydrosol or infusion depending on the conditions), an authentic souvenir of your visit.
