Trail Lake Lalla Takerkoust 2027

About thirty minutes from Marrakech, Lake Lalla Takerkoust, nicknamed "the lake of Marrakech," is one of the region's most prized natural gems. Its turquoise waters, framed by the snow-capped peaks of the Atlas Mountains in winter, offer a spectacular setting, and it is precisely this setting that will host a new edition of the Lake Lalla Takerkoust Trail on January 24, 2027.

Participants will set off from the race village located at JET ATLAS, the Takerkoust Nautical Base, a location already well-known to water sports and outdoor enthusiasts. The course runs along the shores of the lake and climbs the surrounding hills, offering runners breathtaking panoramic views of the lake, the palm grove, and the Atlas Mountains. Organized in the heart of winter, this event showcases a wilder, mountainous side of the Marrakech-Safi region, far from the hustle and bustle of the medina, and appeals to both experienced trail runners and visitors eager to combine physical exertion with the discovery of exceptional natural landscapes.
