A WEEKEND IN MARRAKECH

Just time for a dip in the Marrakchi with inescapable absolutes mood are:

  • The Jemaa-el-Fna square, seen from the top of a terrace in the late afternoon before diving into this outdoor theater and dinner at one of the many stalls.
  • The souks in which is necessarily lost.
  • Some museums and monuments in the medina:
    • The medersa Ben Youssef, one of the finest examples of Arab-Andalusian architecture of the Morocco.
    • The impressive collection of old photos of the House of photography.
    • The Mouaessine Museum, mansion of the end of the 17th century, beginning of the 18th century, the original interior decoration and with great finesse.

To the South of medina, not to be missed:

  • Both the freshness as the originality of some objects in the dar if Said.
  • The Palace of Bahia, another craft and architectural masterpiece;
  • The tranquility of the Saadian tombs
  • And finally, keep time to survey the poetic garden Majorelle and soon the Museum Yves Saint Laurent.
