The 3rd edition of the Marrakech-Safi Region's Social and Solidarity Economy Fair will be held from October 19 to 25, 2026 in Marrakech, under the theme "The Social and Solidarity Economy: Territorial Innovation and Sustainable Development". For one week, the ochre city will be showcasing cooperatives and their expertise.
An event supported by regional institutions
The trade fair is organized by the Marrakech-Safi Regional Council, in partnership with the State Secretariat for Handicrafts and the Social and Solidarity Economy and the Regional Authority. It benefits from the support of the Marrakech City Council and several institutional partners. Its aim is to revitalize the sector at the regional level by providing a space for dialogue and the exchange of experiences among stakeholders.
Approximately 177 cooperatives meet with the public
Some 177 cooperatives and economic interest groups from the region are exhibiting their products, alongside cooperatives from other parts of the Kingdom. Visitors can discover a wide range of products, particularly from the crafts and agricultural sectors, and appreciate the contribution of these organizations to the local economy.
The event also aims to promote a culture of ethical purchasing and encourage the consumption of cooperative products.

A trade fair to strengthen cooperatives
Beyond the exhibition itself, the fair aims to strengthen the role of the social and solidarity economy in local and regional development. It supports initiatives that promote cooperative products and highlight their potential. It also intends to build the capacity of sector organizations in terms of management, marketing, and governance.
