The African Cup of Nations football tournament, CAN 2025

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced that Morocco will be the host country for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), with the cities of Casablanca, Rabat, Tangier, Fez, Agadir and Marrakech selected to host the matches. The competition will start on December 21, 2025 and end on January 18, 2026.

The competition will kick off on December 21, 2025, and will take place in these six major Moroccan cities, each offering its modern infrastructure and warm welcome to teams and fans from across the African continent. The final will be played on January 18, 2026, marking the end of a month of intense competition.
