7th edition of the Marrakech Folklore Days International Festival
Under the theme: “Legacy of Peace” From October 23 to 26, 2025 – Marrakech
Organized by the Heritage and Folklore Association, in partnership with My coming, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Interior, the Municipality of Marrakech, the House of the Artisan, the Marrakech-Safi Regional Tourism Council, the Majorelle Garden Foundation and the The Stars Center of Jamaa El Fna.
A tribute to cultural heritage and peace
The Marrakech Folklore Days International Festival returns for its 7th edition, bringing together more than 600 artists from five continents.
Through performances, traditional dances and cultural workshops, participants will share the diversity of their traditions and the richness of their artistic expressions, in a spirit of peace, respect and universal brotherhood.
Over the years, this festival has become an essential event for Marrakchis, Moroccans and foreign visitors, establishing itself as a space for meeting, exchange and dialogue between the cultures of the world.

This year, in partnership with the Marrakech-Safi Regional Tourism Council,
the festival highlights the oral heritage of Marrakech and its Al Bahja DNA through Dakka Marrakchia, symbol of a living heritage and an authentic art of living.
This collaboration aims to promote international Al Bahja Spirit of Marrakech, a city known for the joy of living and the friendliness of its inhabitants, values which accompany the entire programming of this edition.
Participating countries include Morocco, Armenia, Mali, Senegal, Congo, Austria, Bulgaria, Spain, Estonia, Greece, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Switzerland, Ukraine, Ecuador, Germany, the United Kingdom, Norway, and the Isle of Man.
Marrakech, Capital of Living Heritage — Land of celebrations and encounters
A thousand-year-old city open to the world, Marrakech once again asserts itself as the capital of living heritage.
The festival contributes to strengthening its role as a bridge between civilizations, by promoting popular arts, intercultural creation and the values of peace and diversity.
The Festival, a message of peace and universal sharing
The festival, which attracts hundreds of participants from five continents, warmly welcomed every year in Marrakech, famous together the joy of living through colorful songs and dances.
In addition to its contribution to the promotion of the oral heritage of humanity, it carries a strong message of peace, intercultural exchanges and tolerance.
Le Marrakech-Safi Regional Tourism Council, which has set itself the mission of working towards the promotion and sustainability of intangible heritage, has always accompanied the event Marrakech Folklore Days since its first edition, and will continue to do so with the same conviction and passion.
