Saadian Tombs
Royal necropolis of the Saadian family, a first set of funeral rooms was created after the burial of Prince Mohamed Cheikh in 1557. His son had raised a kubba for him, known as Koubbat lalla Messaouda, and was there in turn. buried in 1574. In 1591, Ahmed El Mansour buried his mother there and his three successors will rest there in turn. A second building is erected and has a central room called the room of the twelve columns and houses the tomb of Sultan Ahmed El Mansour, the room of the mirhab, the room of the three niches. Another space is reserved for the children's tombs. All the rooms are pleasantly decorated and of great finesse.
