By adopting an approach environmentally friendly, the city promotes a local economic growth while improving the community well-being. Marrakech thus offers unique experiences allying Moroccan hospitality et protecting the planet, for a harmonious future.

This brochure was created through the efforts of theRegional Association of the Hotel Industry Marrakech-Safi (ARIH MS), with the aim of promoting and supporting the development of sustainable tourism in the region.

The region of Marrakesh-Safi asserts itself as a model of Sustainability by implementing innovative initiatives to protect and enhance its environment. As part of its commitment to preserving its natural resources and anticipate the effects of the climate change, the region is developing ambitious projects focused on environmental awareness and promotion of renewable energies. These achievements include the creation of wastewater treatment plants, the launch of a Waste disposal and recovery center, and the establishment of the Biogas station of MarrakechThese actions, together with other ongoing projects, ensure a sustainable future while preserving the ecological legacy for future generations.
